What if the partition between India and Pakistan had not happened?

If the partition had not happened-

  • No Indo-Pak wars

  • Dispute over Kashmir would not have occurred

  • Vast free trade zone

  • Reduced immigration to the West

  • 9/11 would not have happened
     

  • Majority of Asia would have been inclined towards Socialism (Leading to lesser Western influence)

The USB would not have been invented.

How?

As a consequence of the partition as well as the 90s technology boom, a large number of people from the Indian subcontinent migrated to the USA leading to the invention of the USB.

The chief architect of the team responsible for developing the USB, Ajay Bhatt, was one such immigrant.

In this fictional narrative, by late 1990s-

HP would have been established at Mumbai, and Dell in Karachi. The colors would be relating to the places signifying the United Indian Republic. The typography includes prominent elements of language.

The packaging for the USB drive has a 90s aesthetic, with the pouch containing the flash drive . The pouch have hand-block printed logos, and the flash drives would have elements of local art movements.
